10 Months

Our sweet Marlee Grace will be 11 months old next week so I decided I had to get on the ball and take her 10 month pictures with her and her doll in her glider. I can't believe I am so late.

And this is Marlee when she saw her brother walk into her room. I think she might love him a little bit.

Ultimate Frisbee

Tonight Dad let us tag along with him to an Ultimate Frisbee game at the park. Lane had the best time running, and running, and running.
Dad showed Lane how to throw a Frisbee.
He got to huddle up with everybody.

Marlee and I watched from the sidelines. She was so happy to sit in her stroller and watch.

Once the game got started Lane came over to play on a huge live oak we sat under. What boy doesn't love a low tree, dirt, and lots of sticks?

Zoo!

Clint had the day off so we loaded up our kids and our friend and her kids to head to Waco to go to the zoo. The kiddos were so excited about our visit. The boys were ready to have a great day!

Our first exhibit. The boys had fun looking at the animals but I think they had just as much fun ruining around together.

Bella and Marlee were just along for the ride.
One of the exhibits had a clear slide that went through it. Lane wanted me to go with him. He may not want me to take him again, I have a hard time stopping at the bottom.

We found a tee pee the boys loved!

This poor giraffe wanted a leaf so bad he couldn't stand it. All of the leaves on this tree were just out of his reach.

As we walked by the Orangutan exhibit he came right up to the glass to see us. He stood there for at least 5 minutes just watching us. It was truly amazing.

JJ accidentally stepped on these bells as we were walking along the path. All three of the boys had the best time playing on them.

To cap off the day we stopped at Vitek's for a gut pack on the way home. Clint was one happy dude!

Lane's 3!!!

Holy Moly! The first picture of my Three year old on his 3rd birthday! You can tell he was excited to be a whole year older!!Before we get into the details of Lane's day I forgot to mention in my last post that Lane got to run in the "birthday parade" on the field with Spike during the game Saturday night!We waited to meet up with Spike and the other kids with birthdays, Lane had fun watching the game from another perspective. Grampy took Lane to run with Spike so I could video. Lane got a late start out of the gate, but he was so cute!

Lane was so funny, he stopped because he got sand in his shoe. I love how he hobbled off the field. Now back to Sunday. We opened presents with Lane before Clint had to be at work at 9am.Lane loved everything he got! He got lots of tools and yard equipment. He got two mowers, a weed eater, a real wheelbarrow. The boy is set to do some major yardwork! We finished off our fun day with dinner at the Oasis. 3 generations on Mother's Day.

Lane's Party Day!

We decided to celebrate Lane's birthday on Saturday, the day before his official birthday so that Clint could be around for more of the celebration, gotta love baseball season! We started the day by giving him his birthday present from Mommy and Daddy. We spoiled our boy this year, at least by our standards, thanks to my little sewing gig. And because of the big gift settled on having a small at home birthday party this year.

After lunch we had Lane's birthday cake. The big boy showing us how old he is!

Sweet baby sister didn't make any of the party pictures. She slept the entire party away.
