Neewollah

We got up bright and early Saturday morning to drive up to Independence, KS for Neewollah.  It's a huge Fall festival with a big parade and carnival.  Grammy and Grampy joined us for a day full of fun!
We claimed our spot on the parade route and settled in to watch the floats and get some candy!

Elizabeth got tired of sitting so she got to spend some time with Dad behind us

The parade wore Marlee out.  She took a little cat nap while we got lunch.
Lane spotted the Farris Wheel and was so excited to ride it.  Clint and Lane rode it while we all watched and waved.

After the Farris Wheel, Clint and I rode the wavy slide with Lane and Marlee.  They loved it!
When we left Neewollah we stopped at the pumpkin patch that Lane visited with his Pre-K class last year.

We had fun walking around looking at all the pumpkins.  Before we left, I wanted to get a few cute pictures of Elizabeth with the pumpkins, she wasn't very excited about having a photo shoot.

And while I took pictures of Busy, Lane and Mar loved the slide.

We all went home exhausted!  What a fun day!

Wagon Ride

Clint took the kids around the block for a wagon ride tonight.  This was Elizabeth's first time to leave the driveway with the big kids.  She loved going with them, and I think they loved having her.

After their lap with Dad, Lane pulled the girls around the yard.

Backyard Cookout

Grammy and Grampy invited us over for a backyard cookout.  It was a great night to be outside!
Lane and Marlee had a great time wrestling in the grass while we got dinner ready.
Busy Bee was content in her warm bear outfit in her high chair.  She had lots of people to watch.

Lane and Mar had a little love fest going on.  They sat at their own little tables and had the best time chatting and eating.

A little snip it of Clint playing with the kids.  He was exhausted by the end of the night!

First Movie!

Yes, can you believe it!  Our 5 year old and 3 year old have never seen a movie in a movie theater!!!  We watch kid movies at home sometimes, but we have never been to a movie theater with the kids.  Crazy I know!  Over fall break we decided to try a movie at a real theater.  We took Miss Elizabeth to her sitters, Grammy and Grampys, and we hit the road.
The kids were just a little bit excited.
The first tickets!  We went to the dollar theater just in case we needed to leave.
We saw Despicable Me 2.  The kids did pretty great. We had movie theater popcorn, that Marlee loved!  She could not get enough.  Lane loved the licorice I snuck in.  After all, sneaking in candy was always one of my favorite things about going to the movie.

Fall Break!

We spent one of our day's of Fall Break in Tulsa at the Children's Museum.   We had so much fun!
There were lots of activities the kids could do.  Aunt Sarah got to join us which made our day even more fun!

We convinced Grammy to try out the bed of nails.
And by the end of our time at the Museum everyone tried out the tape tunnel and slide.
There was even a baby area for Miss E.  She made some baby friends and had lots of fun playing while Lane and Marlee ran around.
Proof that we even got Grapmy to do the tape tunnel!

Wayside Carnival

Saturday night was a big night!  The much awaited School Carnival!   I helped co chair the event, so Clint was on his own.  Of course he took the kids over to Grammy and Grampy's so they could join in on the fun and help!  Grammy got the kids dressed in their costumes.

Can you guess what everyone is?

We are a pirate crew, of course!
The carnival is always lots of fun.  Lane and Marlee are old pros now, this was their second year to get to go.  They love all of the games and all of the candy.

I think the favorite game was the potty toss, throwing a roll of toilet paper into a toilet lid.

We already can't wait for next year!

Around the House

These are just a few of the pictures I've taken around the house lately.  If Elizabeth goes missing, I know I can always find her under the dining room table.  She loves to crawl under there, play on her own for a little, and then she usually gets stuck trying to get out.
Lane and his constant companion, his pirate ship!  The girls love to be around their big brother.
Elizabeth especially loves Lane!  I don't know what it is about these two, but they have something special.
And Miss Marlee always has a story to tell and something to do!  I have no idea what she was doing in the picture, but it looks like she was ready to go somewhere!  We adore our animated girl!
One of the perks of Clint's new career is going to community events.  I do not own boots or anything western for that matter, so I got to borrow clothes and boots for a fun night out.
