Up and At 'Em!

Last night we drove up to Bville to surprise Grampy & Grammy. Every time I've called to check in on my Dad, at least twice a day, he's told me "he sure wished Lane was here". We had planned to come up this weekend, but Northern OK is supposed to get between 6-12 inches of snow tonight and tomorrow so we came up last night to miss the storm. We got into town about 1 a.m. and headed straight to the hospital to see Grampy. I think he was glad to see Lane! This morning we came up to see Grampy and he was eating ice chips with a spoon. Lane saw him, the ice, and the spoon and had to have his own.

Now for a report on our patient: Grampy is doing great! He's sat up most of the day, he's made 5 laps around his floor, ate his first meal of solid foods for lunch, and found out he gets to go home tomorrow morning! He is still has some pain, but he is doing great. We are very happy he has done so well. Thank you for all for your prayers!
