Saturday we went for a day long train ride! We took Grammy and
Grampy along for the fun.
The ride was 2 1/2 hours each way with a couple hour layover for lunch and a little sh
opping in Burnet. Lane loves trains and was so excited to be on the train!
We passed a couple of trains on our trip. We'd never been so close to a train before!
Marlee has started sucking her two fingers just like brother!
They both enjoyed a good part of our ride with their fingers in their mouths.
It was a fun day for all!
Everyone was worn out on our way home. Grampy and Marlee took a little cat nap together.
While we were on the train we learned all about the train whistle, how many whistles and the lenght of them all mean different things. This is Lane's impersonation of the train whistle. It cracks us up every time.
