I laughed forever after he asked me if the deer poop was beans. We eat a lot of black beans, but we may not be having them for a few weeks, or at least until I can get that mental image out of my head.
Lane got pretty comfortable around the animals. He gave the sheep a big hug and loved the little white goat. As we were heading out I asked him what he thought we should name the goat. Can you guess the name he picked.... Poop, of course!
Marlee got to see some deer up close from the safe side of the fence.
She really liked them!
I tried to get a picture of the kids with the Grandparents. I usually post the ones where at least one person is looking, but this one is a bit more realistic.
When our tour was ready we got to load up in the open air bus. Marlee was very interested in the feed.
And big brother's sun glasses.
The animals all ran up to the bus as soon as they saw it coming. It was unreal to see so many animals so close!
We loved the Lama's! They were so sweet.
Lane even got into feeding the Lama's. He couldn't get enough!
Grammy and Marlee reached out to pet Zoe the Zebra.
Zoe was a sweet girl, but a bit on the bossy side. She was really fun.
Lane up on his perch ready to feed some more animals.
Grampy, Clint, and Grammy fed the Scottish Highlander. His tongue was out of control. For a farm girl Grammy was pretty funny.
Grammy and Marlee reached out to pet Zoe the Zebra.
Clint and Snowman. I can't remember what he is, but he was beautiful.
Lane didn't want to get too close to him.
