Helper Dude

Lane is a busy, busy, independent boy. He likes to do everything himself so holding hands when we go in and out of stores has always been a problem. To bribe him to hold hands I have found that if he gets to hold the grocery bags he'll do it. He used to put them over his shoulder, like Mom, and walk in. Then, the other night Dad went with us to the store and put the bags around Lane's neck. Now Lane thinks that's the ONLY way to carry a bag in.
