Running

Lane has become obsessed with running the bases at the ballpark! The Express let kids run the bases on Tuesday and Sunday nights. The Tuesday night run is just from home to first, which I usually do with Lane. Sunday nights he gets to run all the way from home back to home and he always runs with Dad. This was the first Sunday, this Season, we've been at the game to run all the bases, so it took Lane a minute to get into it.

The boys made it back around to home and Lane was ready to go again. I went with Lane on his second lap. I'll save you from watching the full video, but you have to see how cute Lane was when he stopped to give Spike and "uncle" Henry five on his way to home.

I'm sure that when the game is over tonight Lane will turn and look at me, pump his arms and make his little wooshing running sound to let me know he wants to run the bases. Poor guy will have to wait one more day until Tuesday. Honestly, I can't wait either, he is so happy when he's out there on the field, it's the highlight of my day.
